Fiona was incredibly helpful organising accommodation, equipment hire and plane tickets for my first time travelling in a wheelchair and her communication with us was excellent.

Towards the end of 2019 I sought Fiona Donaldson's assistance in arranging a cruise to board in 2020 for my wife, myself and my support worker. The purpose of the cruise was to celebrate my 70th birthday. I found Fiona extremely knowledgeable and efficient in arranging the cruise including my special needs as a quadriplegic. Being in a wheelchair herself she was able to explain to the cruise company precisely what I required when on the ship and transferring at the various ports. I have no hesitation in recommending Fiona as a travel agent to any prospective travelers.

I approached Fiona to arrange my five week holiday in Italy and Paris specifically because she understands life in a wheelchair and I wasn’t disappointed. From our first meeting Fiona was listening to my ideas and offering suggestions – if there was a town/building we weren’t sure of in terms of accessibility Fiona followed through and researched it. To say Fiona is an organised, multi tasker is an understatement. She impressed me incredibly with her speed and thoroughness in organising what would have been my dream holiday of a lifetime. Sadly Covid-19 got in the way – although even then Fiona was quick to pick up the pieces and arrange refunds as quickly as possible. When life returns to ‘normal’ I will again approach Fiona to organise my holiday, however in the meantime to ANYONE wanting to get away I would recommend Fiona Donaldson without any hesitation.

My sister and I spent some months at the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020 planning an extended trip to Europe through Fiona. With my sister in a wheelchair, Fiona knew the right questions to ask hotels and tour guides to accommodate us. No detail was too small and Fiona was always quick to respond. When our trip had to be cancelled with the onset of the pandemic, Fiona worked tirelessly to ensure all our deposits were refunded. We could not have asked for better service and would highly recommend Fiona.

I became a paraplegic in January, 2015, and l felt it was a death sentence. My life was over, and the road between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast was the nearest to travel l could imagine. Then l met Fiona - a Travel Agent, and like me - in a wheel chair. She spoke at a Spinal Life meeting and my life changed again. Fiona arranged a cruise for myself and my husband, to the Carribean, and on the home journey she arranged several days for us at New Orleans and Alberquerque. She booked the cruise, the flights including advice about taking my scooter and advising the airlines, organised transfers and accessible hotels. Her professionalism, understanding, knowledge, wonderful sense of humour, her ability to quickly realise, connect and negate any concerns or questions we had, and the fact she will go the extra mile to ensure everything is just right, made everything so very easy. We had a wonderful time. Our next venture is a cruise from Singapore to Dubai, which Fiona is arranging, of course. I would not go to anyone else now and I'd recommend her to anyone.

I recently had the pleasure of using Travel Managers Australia and in particular Fiona to arrange a trip to Singapore. Fiona was amazing and helped arrange all my disability needs. Fiona accessed a great room, a hoist, airport transport as well as a food tour. Fiona was always prompt and supplied information and updates whenever necessary, I would recommend using TravelManagers when booking a trip even if you do not have assistance requirements.

Fiona arranged a fantastic holiday for us in Europe including accessability as I am a paraplegic....she then organised all the cancelations when I became sick and was unable to travel ...she got all our money back via the various companies and our insurance ....we will be using her again next year.. Fiona assisted myself with booking a holiday overseas. Fiona organised equipment hire, flights, accommodation and van hire and communicated excellently throughout the process. There were multiple barriers to the holiday going ahead, but Fionas knowledge and hard work enabled us to overcome them with ease.
