So what is a Snow Safari?
We are an Australian-hosted ski tour open to families of all ages. No minimum or maximum age! We have the best local ski hosts escorting you to the secret haunts on the mountain, deluxe ski-in ski-out apartments, group family dining experiences and activities which means some serious FUN. And it’s not just for the adults – your kids will have a blast too!
Our Big White Family Snow Safaris have been operating for many years
Big White Ski Resort is located in BC Canada. With an annual Snowfall of 750cm, it is known for its Okanagan powder, minimal lift queues, amazing terrain, including some of the best-gladed skiing, and fantastic family atmosphere. If you have a non-skier in your family, then there is much to do too with Snow Shoe Trails, Dog Sled Tours, Sleigh Rides, Ice Climbing and more.
Where we stay is important! We choose to stay in luxury ski-in ski-out condos, complete with daily room servicing, on-demand shuttle service, 2 outdoor spas, sauna, gym, Swimming pool with water slide ( yes even in Winter!), Cinema, Games room and free kids club daily.
Why Hosted ski days? Big White resort is well… Big! And nobody knows a mountain like a local. Our hosts have grown up at Big White and worked as Mountain Hosts. They know all the terrain and where to go for the best conditions each day.
And dinners? We believe family dining is more fun in a group. Our dinners are fun family experiences at local restaurants, as well as our highlight private Sleigh Ride to Dinner at the warming hut.. A firm favourite!
What is so great about the Aussie hosts? With Kim having over 22 years experience as a travel agent, organisation is her thing! We have travelled the world with our kids and know what you may need to make your experience awesome. From assisting you with babysitting, grocery deliveries, day care and ski school, we can assist with all of it. And if something goes wrong.. We are there to help!
