I’m Alyssa, a passionate travel expert with over 26 years of experience in the industry. Originally from Perth, now based in Melbourne, my love for travel began at 22 when I set off on my first solo adventure to London on a one-way ticket. Three years later, after exploring 48 countries, I returned home with a wealth of experiences and a desire to help others explore the world.
I specialise in crafting unique travel experiences, whether it’s an off-the-beaten-path adventure, a leisurely holiday, a cruise, or even corporate travel.
I also offer my own range of small group tours, especially designed for solo travellers, helping to create journeys that forge lasting memories.
Since founding SoloMade, I’ve focused on addressing the challenges faced by solo travellers—safety concerns, logistical headaches, or simply the desire for companionship. While there are many tours available, nobody wants to feel like the only solo traveller in a group of couples, right?
