I’m a Kiwi Melbournian, born in New Zealand now calling Melbourne home.
I enjoy active holidays, sometimes off the beaten track on my bike, sometimes urban hiking in a city, sometimes hiking in the countryside but always with food and local wine / gin / sake involved. My last trip, in March 2023 I spent 5 days walking and eating my way around Tokyo, a perfect urban hiking holiday which you can see on my website here
As a Personal Travel Manager, my goal is to add value to your travel planning and ensure you have an amazing, memorable and seamless travel experience. I live by the mantra ‘I don’t know what I don’t know’ which is why travel is such a rewarding experience.
I started 2024 travelling to Okinawa and Iriomote Island with Visit Okinawa. It’s Japan, but not as you know it. If you’ve been to Japan but want to see more or are a diver, snorkelling, golfer, foodies or just like exploring different cultures, Okinawa might be for you. The famous Ishigaki beef ,cooked yakiniku style, barbecued wild boar and Okinawa donuts were favourite foodie experiences.
After sending many clients to Cambodia with Wide Eyed Tours , I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to meet their staff and experience their operation. A fabulous week with colleagues, meeting the locals that show my clients their home. Highlights were dinner with Wide Eyed’s Battambang Manager Sam, cooked by his wife, seeing Phare Circus in Siem Reap and the evening Tuk Tuk tour of Phnom Penh’s street food.
