I’ve been working in the travel industry for over 30 years now. Over that time I’ve met a lot of wonderful people and have been lucky enough to travel to some amazing places. You could say travel is my passion.
I didn’t start out as a travel agent though. My first job was as a high school teacher. During my teacher training, I got to travel to Bali and Java in Indonesia on a study tour, and that’s when the travel bug bit! Everything was so exotic and foreign to me, the food, the people and the amazing sights. Back at home, I continued teaching for another two years, and then I knew that travel was something I wanted to do full time.
Over the years, I’ve worked as a travel agent in a local agency helping people plan and book everything from business trips to weddings and honeymoons. There’s also been a lot of package holidays, family trips, couples getaways and people travelling on their own. No matter what type of trip, I’ve loved helping people see the world. I’ve also worked as a telephone consultant for a wholesale travel company, and got to specialise in airfares.
Now it’s time to bring a real personal touch to what I do. Working as a personal travel manager gives me the time and flexibility to help you plan your travel without the constraints of a traditional office. It means I can spend more time on you and what you need.
I can give you advice and book any travel service you need, including the following:
