My own love affair with travel began as a child, being taken on many and varied family holidays, both overseas, and on road trips around Australia. Needless to say, I was bitten by the ‘travel bug’!
It quickly made sense to make a career out of something I enjoy doing – travelling, and gaining the education and personal growth that comes along with visiting different places, experiencing different cultures, and meeting people from all walks of life, all over the world. Being a Personal Travel Manager is a very positive and great job to do, and is one that I’m passionate about – creating, planning and organising all sorts of holidays, which meet and exceed my client’s expectations, and realises their dreams!
Even though I offer and can organise the entire spectrum of travel products and services available, my specialties include organising family holidays (being a mum myself), rail travel, honeymoons, coach touring, group travel & cruising. I am a “Master Cruise Consultant” and “CruiseManager”, which basically means that I am an expert in all things cruising!
I love writing…jotting down notes, tips & tricks about my travel adventures, that I get to share with my clients – so much so, that I’m currently writing a book on the subject…watch this space!
At our TravelManagers 2015 conference, I was very proud, honoured and thrilled to be announced as the winner of the 2015 TravelManagers’ “Spirit” Award. The description of the TravelManagers’ “Spirit” Award is: “This award is to recognise someone who’s everyday attitude and principles inspire and impregnate the thoughts, feelings and actions of all of us at TravelManagers. This award is for the person who lives, breathes and consistently demonstrates the heart and soul of TravelManagers. This award is open to any person within or external to TravelManagers who has been fundamental to developing, maintaining and enhancing TravelManagers’ unique culture.”
I was also proud and honoured to also be nominated as a finalist in both the ‘Innovation in Marketing’ Award, and the ‘Choice’ Award, voted on my fellow Personal Travel Managers, as a team player, helpful & good advocate for the company.
Think of me, being your Personal Travel Manager, the way you’d think of your personal trainer or financial planner – there to help you achieve a specific goal in their field of expertise. In my case, it’s travel. I realise that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all, cookie cutter type of holiday. Whether you’re travelling for business or pleasure, I will work closely with you to create a tailor-made dream holiday that’s every bit “as individual as you are” and is perfectly suited to you!
Whilst you’re away, please ‘share’ & ‘tag’ me in your own holiday photos, via your social media channels, and please ‘follow’ and ‘like’ me, via mine: @nicole_edgar_travelmanager | #nicoleedgarptm.
So, in the years to come, when you are looking back through all of your holiday photos with fond memories, as your Personal Travel Manager, I cherish the fact that I played a part in creating those positive memories for you. My goal is to enhance your overall travel experience, so that your entire journey is more than just your actual holiday. Enjoy the journey.

There is only one trip advisor that you need to use – me! Having over 30+ years of travel industry experience, and having personally travelled to over 45 countries, I know how to research and plan your perfect holiday.
I’ll save you time searching online, comparing reviews and numerous opinions, plus your money is totally safe with TravelManagers, unlike some dodgy online websites and fake operators!
I understand that everyone is unique, and there is not a one-size-fits-all holiday that suits everybody. Just as you are an individual, so is your tailor-made holiday that I can create for you, matching your needs, wants, budget and time-frame. I ensure that your stress is taken away throughout the entire experience, from your initial quote, to the day you return home after your memorable trip.
Being mobile, I can meet up with you, at a time and place convenient to you – your home, your work, in a cafe or in a restaurant! No longer do you need to wait during business hours, in busy shopfront travel agencies, tolerating their constant interruptions and multiple staff – you only have one travel expert – me – from start to finish, who knows your entire booking history.
And unlike shopfront travel agencies and the internet, I am on call 24/7 in case of emergency, and I offer the same variety of travel products or services that they do, if not more. Some of the services I offer are:
Boarding Kennels for your dogs & cats
And the best part of my job? I can tell you all ‘where to go’, and not get in trouble for it!
With Nicole Edgar and TravelManagers, your entire journey is more than just your actual holiday!
Like myself, you have been bitten by the travel bug. The travel bug is contagious. Everybody loves to talk about travel and an upcoming, planned holiday. A holiday is something that you always look forward to, and it’s something that you look back on with fond memories.
So when you buy ‘travel’, or a holiday, what is it that you are actually buying? It’s the benefits of what a well-planned, well-organised, stress-free and streamlined holiday can offer you. A holiday can be the light at the end of a tunnel, a de-stressing timeout, some RnR time, a bucket list being ticked off, a reward, some time to reconnect and spend quality time with your loved ones, or a long-term dream and goal coming to fruition and being realised.
However, planning and booking a trip can be very daunting and overwhelming task, because ‘travel’ is the big unknown. Think about it – ‘travel’ is totally unique to anything else that you can buy. Travel is intangible – you can’t see it, taste it, smell it, touch it or sample it. You can only imagine, dream and envisage what your perfect holiday will be like. Unlike any other product or service that you can buy, you don’t reap the benefits and get to experience your travel purchase, until weeks, months or even years later.
You place a lot of trust in getting everything about this next trip done perfectly, from the start. After all, you’ve worked hard all year to earn yourself a well-deserved holiday, and you’ve worked hard all year to save up for your dream holiday, so don’t risk losing your holiday savings, plus all of your dreams and big expectations to an impersonal, dodgy website, or waste any more time searching and comparing countless websites and online reviews. You are invested in this trip, and you have invested in this trip – both financially and mentally. Don’t put it all to chance.
Travel is an investment – both financially, and personally. The famous St Augustine travel quote says, “travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer”, despite that it actually costs you money to do so. Travel can fulfill your soul and enrich your own life on a personal and deeper level, by experiencing other cultures, by admiring a spectacular view, touring different countries and cities, eating different cuisine, and by meeting other people from all walks of life.
Invest in your upcoming trip wisely, and reap the rewards of your good, sound investment down the track, when you get to travel. You deserve more than a ‘one size fits all’ package deal made up for the masses, and you deserve better than being treated as just another number on an impersonal booking engine website. Entrust me, being your Personal Travel Manager, to research and tailor-make your next, perfect, stress-free and streamlined trip to suit you – your needs, your wants, and your budget, making your next holiday memorable, for all of the right reasons!
