My travel obsession kicked off when I was just 18. My cousin and I strapped on our backpacks and embarked on an epic journey through Southeast Asia, right after uni wrapped up for the year.
Fast forward a bit, and I found myself stuck in the corporate grind, dreaming of far-off places. So, I made a bold move—quit my job, grabbed my trusty backpack, and set off on a spontaneous six-month adventure with no return date. My journey led me to the breathtaking foothills of Mount Everest, continued on with two incredible months exploring India, from the northern peaks to the southern shores. Then it was off to Africa, where I visited 9 enchanting countries, witnessed an array of wildlife, and collected countless unforgettable memories. I spent my last few dollars on a return flight home, carrying with me a heart full of adventures and a lifetime of stories.
They say travel changes you, and boy, is that true! I discovered a deep, unshakeable craving for new experiences, unfamiliar places, and diverse cultures. It was like I was hooked on the thrill of exploration.
Becoming a travel agent was like finding my true calling. I vividly remember posting on Instagram the day I landed my first travel gig, declaring, “It’s a good thing when you find your thing.” Honestly, helping people fulfill their travel dreams brings me nearly as much joy as traveling myself.
Through this amazing job, I’ve had the chance to explore destinations I never dreamed of and keep adding new spots to my bucket list. I’m grateful every day for the chance to turn my passion for travel into a career, sharing that excitement with others. Who knows? Maybe one day I’ll dust off my backpack and set off on another grand adventure (kids in tow). But for now, I’m thrilled to help others discover their own sense of wanderlust and explore the world.
