Whether it be a family holiday to the New Zealand or Fiji. Or a couple on an depth journey through Europe to a self drive trip to the Kimberley’s or the Northern Territory.
You would say I like the mountains, winter, and snow trips-based trips on my travel history.
In the last 5 years we as a family we have traveled to Eastern Canada and Whistler Ski Resort, Perisher, the New Zealand Alps, and Queenstown.
We did manage to include some beach holidays both local and overseas. Traveling to Jervis Bay and Vincentia, up to Kingscliff and of cause the old favorite Shoal Bay at Port Stephens. Club Med Bali was a favorite, as were the Cook Islands which we combined with New Zealand North Island experience.
However, my absolute favorite from this period was a trip I took in Oct 2019, with Intrepid Travel to Japan. It was the Bike, Hike and Kayak Tour. This was a truly a remarkable and authentic experience. Japan is such a beautiful country and dynamic country, and I hope to return there in the future when the world has less COVID.
Moving back a further 10 years, is a mix of work trips and family holidays to Fiji, California, and Eastern Canada to see family on Prince Edward Island, compared to a Danube River Cruise with Uniworld River Cruises. I was blown away by how good the Uniworld River Cruise product was and also by the beauty of the scenery along the Danube (Apr’12). As a result of this experience I booked a lot of European River Cruise to some very happy clients.
Took a fantastic work trip to Switzerland (Sept’14) and railed thru the Alps, so Impressive. Followed this up in Nov14 to Vietnam and loved Hoi An and Hanoi.
Lucky enough to be invited to Northern Western Australia Tourism to the Kimberley’s in May’15, and as a result have sent many clients to this spectacular part of Australia because of this experience. But my all-time favorite work trip was to Club Med in France to ski at Valmorel in Mar’17, and as a result have sent clients back to Valmorel to experience what I did.
From a family perspective, between holidays back to Prince Edward Island, Canada and trip to Fiji in Nov’11 and May’14 to stay at Castaway Island Resort – LOVED IT!
Whilst my family loved Castaway Island, their favorite family holiday would be Hawaii in Jul’16.
Moving back another 10 years is stretching for my memory. More snow skiing trips to Western Canada – Whistler, Banff, Lake Louise, and Jasper. Then skiing in Eastern Canada at Mont Sainte Anne and Mont Tremblanc in Quebec. More Skiing in Austria at Lech and St Anton.
Combined this with more skiing trips to New Zealand and lots of ski resorts in both New South Wales and Victoria.
Hiking through the Canadian Rockies and Yosemite in summer was special experience, with jaw dropping scenery. Combined with visits to the popular USA icons of Disneyland, Las Vegas, LA, San Fran, Boston, and New York.
Back another 10 years – traveled independently through the UK & Europe. Combined with family trip to New Zealand and Asia, the Maldives, Mauritius and more.

Additionally, over the past 13 months I have been improving my destination and travel product knowledge completing over 150 hours of online training on Australia and NZ.
