After working at Haven Holidays in the UK for 3 years as a part of the entertainments team, I then had the privilege to travel the world with Princess Cruises for just over 5 years, visiting 5 of the 7 continents. Wanting to create memories for others that would last a life time using my own travelling experience, I knew only job for me was to become a travel agent. The knowledge I have gained from my personal experiences are invaluable to my clients.
I have often been asked where I have travelled to and what my favourite destination is, now that is a tough question as there are so many wonderful places I had the privilege to visit in the world. Just to name a few that I have visited include New Zealand, South Pacific Islands, Asia, Europe, Mediterranean, United Kingdom, Canada, USA including Hawaii, Tahiti, Marquesas Islands, Caribbean, Mexico, Panama Canal and the list goes on.. A few of my favourites were Tahiti ; I was lucky enough to spend 9 months on the Tahitian Princess sailing the Cook Islands and the Marquesas Island. Everyday I would open my curtains to the most amazing blue oceans, the colours you see are on a brochure.. My daily routine was to ride a push bike around the islands and find the most remote beach I possibly could, my own place in paradise. The Baltic ; 4 months sailing around the Baltic on the Regal Princess, visiting Russia, Poland, Norway, Germany Denmark, Sweden and Estonia… I loved the cobble stone-streets of Tallinn , the twinkling lights of Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen and wonderful Russian Ballet in St. Petersberg. Lastly the pick of the cruising world, Alaska ; I have cruised the inside passage over 60 times. They say this is a once in a lifetime holiday because you do it once, I didnt listen to that, I did it 60 times! My highlight was the dog sledging in Juneau, I really wanted one of those dogs…
