About 16 years ago now, I was constructively working full time in the retail sector, climbing the ladder and jumping through hoops. Suddenly, it dawned on me that I needed to work in travel! How does one draw that conclusion? I found myself on a number of occasions collecting brochures from travel agencies for work colleges, to assist in their holiday plans. Geography was my thing. After this revelation I promptly enrolled myself into a 2 year Advanced Diploma Tourism course, at William Angliss Institute. With only a small intake per year via an interview process, I was consistently near or at the top of my class. I was not long out of the classroom before having a number of job opportunities. I was very blessed to take an opportunity at a retail agency in Forest Hill as a domestic consultant and learnt the ropes under some of the most respected consultants in the industry, whom have many, many years of experience. While consulting in a retail office I spent much of my after hours increasing my product knowledge through supplier and destination trade shows, conferences, educationals and studying your everyday brochures. With the vision of still remaining within the industry at a level that I can work around my family and still enjoying the travel industry that I love, I discovered TravelManagers. TravelManagers is everything that I had once imagined. TravelManagers allows me to continue doing what I love and maintain the personal level of service to my clients.
so many places, above all my favourite place to be is Queenstown. I love the ever changing scenery, the culture and adventure. It is the one place in the world I have truly felt at home. I love what cruising brings to the art of travel. Cruises are an endless play ground or that quiet spot where you feel like the only person on board. Waking up to a different destination and a new day of exploration, makes for a memorable holiday. You can never be bored. There is a cruise to suit everyone, maybe you just haven’t found it yet.
It’s all about the relationship. Relationship is the key to a fantastic holiday. I take the time to get to know you, what you like, and your passions. Together with your desires and my expertise we create a memory to last a lifetime. Life without a Personal Travel Manager can be bogged down with indecision, being completely overwhelmed, loss of time and money and the feeling of grief if things don’t pan out. Knowing that I am only a phone call away, no matter what the time, provides much comfort when an airlines cancels a flight, you never feel as if you are travelling alone. I take the stress out of planning your holiday, so that you can simply look forward to your trip. I am not limited to what arrangements I can organise anything, from flights to dinner at the Eiffel Tower and everything in between. Once you experience your journey with a Personal Travel Manager, you will wonder why you hadn’t had one before. It is my privilege, to bring to life, your journey.
