About me

Growing up in a big family we never were able to travel overseas. Most of our holidays involved road trips to Melbourne to visit family in our HiAce Van, I have 6 sisters. I am not sure exactly when the idea of travelling overseas first came to me. All I remember is wanting to leave the smallish country town I grew up in and seeing what was out there. Whilst most of my friends were deciding on what uni/college they would go to. I started looking into exchange programs. I remember going to a talk about a student exchange and thinking no I don’t want to go to school so I found one which was teaching English at local schools across the world. Europe really appealed and I eventually decided on Poland. I still remember people’s reaction to Poland.. Why Poland? Why would  you want to go there? I did my research in the family’s encyclopedia (slightly outdated at the time!) and was a bit scared about what I was getting myself into. Nevertheless, I wanted somewhere “different” and so off I went. I will never forget arriving the first day into Poland leaving the 40 degree Aussie summer and arriving in -30 degree Polish winter. However, to say this experience was life changing is an understatement. This is where my love for travel and even more importantly with Europe begun.

After 6 months in Poland, 3 months backpacking with 2 beautiful new friends and a lot of stories to tell I returned to Australia. I decided to go to Uni. However, I missed travelling. So I was offered a scholarship to do a university exchange semester overseas. I chose Chile as my next destination, travelling around the world to get there. I came back finished my degree and then decided I needed to travel again. I found a job advertisement for tour leaders in Europe for an adventure company. I applied, got the job and off I went! I then spent the next 4 years in Europe taking “young” people on buses around Europe every summer and travelling/working in the European winter. On one off those winter escapes to South America I met my now husband. After finishing in Europe (my working visas had all expired unfortunately) I went and lived/worked in Colombia and Chile.

After not being home for years I decided to take my new husband back to Australia to meet my family and see Australia. We ended up staying due to family reasons and so whilst looking for a job I stumbled across a position for a travel agent at the local Flight Centre. Before I knew it I was promoted to Assistant Team Leader, then Team Leader and then Village Leader. I worked with an amazing team and our store celebrated some incredible achievements.

Throughout my 11 years as a travel agent I have built some great relationship with customers, suppliers and colleagues. I have also been able to do this whilst continuing to explore the world and also share in my customers travel stories.

I love finding out where my clients next destination is, or meeting and talking travel with people who are just starting to explore the world. There is something special and exciting about booking travel for my clients and being able to make their dreams a reality. The best bit is that I can do it all from the comfort of your home.

I can’t wait to hear about your next travel adventure you can contact me on 0413908423 or [email protected]

I have been so lucky to travel to over 50 countries and still have so many places on my bucket list. It’s hard for me to decide on a favourite destination but I have so much love for Europe and South America. I love the diversity and history that these destinations have to offer and they really do ignite all the senses!

I understand that we are all unique in our travel needs, requirements and wants. I take the time to listen to you, my client, and use my experience to help create and book value added holidays for you. I am also there for you when travel plans don’t go to plan.. we all have a story!

Let me take the stress out of planning your holiday so that you can enjoy the whole experience!
