Since I first went overseas when I was 11, I knew I wanted to travel for the rest of my life, and when I couldn’t travel, be a part of making others’ travel something special. In 2010, I became a Personal Travel Manager to bring together having a family and planning great holidays for other families.
Antarctica. From the sheer scale of the landscape to the absolute quiet of being at sea to the amazing experience that can only come from seeing animals in their natural environment. This is one travel experience that cannot be put in to words.
Whilst Antarctica may be out of this world and a once (or twice) off destination, I have seen a lot of this fabulous world. In the last 10 years, here are my top destinations
1. France (with kids and without) – River Cruising, Skiing, Countryside and Major Cities
2. Switzerland (with kids) – Countryside
3. London (with kids)
4. USA (Hawaii)
5. Singapore
6. Germany (with kids) – Christmas Markets
7. Italy – Tuscany
8. South Pacific – Tahiti (without kids), Cook Islands (with kids)
Everyone should have a personal travel manager because it gives you access to a knowledge base that can be tailored to your individual needs. As a mobile travel agent, I am able to visit my clients at a time and place which suits their busy lives, be it after hours or on the weekend. My clients have access to me 24/7 whilst overseas so they can travel with peace of mind that should anything happen where they need support, I will personally be there.
