Traveling isn’t just a hobby for me; it’s a lifelong passion deeply rooted in my family’s history and nurtured by a burning desire to explore the beauty of our world.
My love affair with travel was ignited by the stories of my beloved grandparents, who were true globetrotters. I vividly remember awaiting their return from escapades to far-flung, exotic destinations, eagerly anticipating their tales of adventure and the treasures they brought back. These cherished memories set the stage for a future filled with exploration.
At the age of 16, my world expanded dramatically when my grandparents took my sister, cousin, and I on a life-changing trip to Bali. For a teenager from regional NSW who had never ventured to Sydney, it was a profound eye-opener. That experience opened the floodgates of my adventurous spirit, propelling me to explore the diverse cultures and landscapes our world has to offer.
My affection for Disney has taken me to enchanted places like Tokyo Disney, Hong Kong Disney, Disneyland, and Disney World, where I’ve celebrated the magic several times. A Disney Very Merrytime Christmas cruise remains one of my cherished experiences in the world of Disney.
My travel adventures extend to the United States, where I’ve extensively explored all corners of the country. I’ve ventured to over 90 U.S. National Parks and Monuments, driven Route 66, and travelled the East and West coasts. I’ve set foot in 34 states, each with its unique charm and beauty.
With the arrival of my twin daughters, my family discovered our shared love for cruising. We found it to be not only great value for money but also an incredible way to cater to everyone’s interests. We’ve sailed from Sydney to Honolulu, explored the Caribbean, traversed the Panama Canal, delved into the heart of Asia, and cruised the Pacific. Next year, we’re eagerly anticipating our voyage to Alaska.
We have sailed with a variety of major cruise lines on voyages ranging from 3 to 21 nights.
Some of the highlights of my travels include dog sledding in Canada and the USA, sailing through the Panama Canal, swimming with majestic manatees, cradling a baby sloth, and driving the awe-inspiring Scenic Byway Utah 12.
Experiencing New York City at Christmas and celebrating a white Christmas in Park City, Utah, have also been magical moments.

USA/ CANADA: I have travelled to 36 states in the USA and visited over 90 US National Parks and US Monuments. I have driven Route 66 and both the East and West Coasts. In Canada I have ridden the snow train from Vancouver to Jasper and been lucky enough to go on a tour with Scenic in the Rocky Mountains.
Cruise: I have been on cruises from 3 – 21 days with P&O, Carnival, NCL, Disney and many more. I am a member of CLIA.
Asia: In Asia I have traveled to Bali, Borneo, Brunei, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Macau, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines with many more destinations on my bucket list.
Pacific: I have been lucky to travel several times to Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Tahiti.
Caribbean: There are so many beautiful places in the Caribbean, and I have seen some amazing places visiting over 11 different islands. Some highlights have been Antigua, USVI, Curacao and Bonaire.
Mexico and Central America: Mexico has some spectacular sights; I have watched the cliff divers in Acapulco and ridden a quad bike through the cactus in Cabo San Lucas. In Guatemala I have visited the UNESCO world heritage site of Antigua and in Columbia held a baby sloth and saw amazing toucans and macaws.
