The world has certainly changed with the COVID-19 pandemic, and for many of us, travel plans have been put on hold for a couple of years. Travel Dreams however, are never on hold! :)
While we all come to terms with the changes to our everyday lives, I don’t think I am alone in still dreaming about all the places and people I want to visit once we are safe to travel again! And while business is pretty quiet at the moment now that most of the cancellations and refunds from my client’s travel plans in 2020 have been processed, I fully intend to continue to support my corporate and leisure clients as the world starts turning again, whenever that may be.
I think travel is a great gift – one which can change our visions and understanding of people and the world around us. Now, more than ever, it can be complicated to navigate the ever changing rules of airfares, hotel and tour cancellation policies, and to just make sure you are safe and supported while traveling. That’s what I am here for. :)
The Sunshine Coast in Queensland is where I am lucky to call home. We have 4 grown up children – all having their own adventures around the world. In my spare time, when I am not travelling, I love to go Stand up Paddleboarding and exploring waterways anywhere I can get to, scuba diving, snorkelling, swimming and skiing when I can get to the snow!
Some of the reasons I love the world…
Antarctica – top of my bucket list is to cruise there, but I got to see a glimpse of it from the air on the World’s most scenic flight through Antarctica Flights in February 2021, and it was amaaazing! :)
Canada – Winter adventures – skiing, ice climbing, snow shoeing, snow hiking
Europe – lived in Austria for a year so explored many parts of the country. Also went on trips to Paris, Reims, Rome, Pompeii, Florence, Venice, Zurich, Zermatt, Lugano, Munich, Bavaria, Frankfurt, Gothenburg. I loved skiing, hiking, cooking, and learning about the lifestyle and culture of each place I visited.
In 2015, I took 2 of my daughters to Europe for a wedding in Austria, and we also travelled to Stuttgart and Legoland in Germany and the lovely city of Venice. In Austria, we spent a lot of time in Salzburg and Vienna.
In 2016, I flew over with my family on Christmas Day and spent a month in Austria, Italy and Switzerland with a few days in Dubai on the way home.
2017 – Switzerland and Austria with lots of skiing
2018 – Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Czeck Republic, Bratislava
USA – New Orleans, Houston, Los Angeles and the coast up to San Francisco, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas
Fiji – Blue Lagoon Cruise in the Yasawa Islands (you need to do this!!)
New Zealand – South Island – whale watching, dolphin cruise, Christchurch tour, Abel Tasman national park
India – rickshaw ride through Dehli, Taj Mahal (Wow!), elephant ride to Amber fort in Jaipur, shopping in local markets, village walk in Alsisar
Australia – Sailing, Skiing, Island hopping, Theme parks, Motor homes, self-drive, have stayed in a variety of places from Caravan parks to 5 star hotels! Enjoyed a 2 month roadtrip in 2019 through western Queensland, out to Kings Canyon and Uluru, down to South Australia and then along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria before heading through to Sydney and up the east coast.
Cruise – Royal Caribbean Voyager of the Seas cruise, Pacific Dawn Comedy Cruise, Queen Elizabeth II from Melbourne to Adelaide, and inspected many other cruise ships.

The key point of difference about being a Personal Travel Manager is the flexibility. I can work anytime, anywhere. Being a Mum of four, I totally understand how busy life can get, and can therefore work around a time that suits you. We can chat via email, Skype, Facebook, phone, and of course, in person.
As your Travel Manager, I can help you with making as many or as few arrangements as you like to pre-organise. From flights and accommodation to Travel Insurance and visa information. I also love finding out about things to do in each place you visit, whether it be a local cooking course, or an overnight trek where you sleep in an igloo!
These are the experiences which make a holiday memorable, and it is worth doing some research together before you go so that you can get there and jump straight into the action! Saying that, I am also a big fan of spontaneous travel, so if you just want to book your flight and first nights’ accommodation, and play it by ear when you get there, I can help you get just that part sorted.
