I am passionate about travel – in fact I am a self-confessed travel addict! In 1998 after 26 years of teaching, I decided it was time for a new career. I began my travel career as a travel manager and over the past 19 years I have enjoyed planning personalised itineraries for individuals and small groups. In 2003, I decided to form SmallGroup Travel to share my passion for travelling to exotic places with a small group of likeminded people. I joined TravelManagers Australia in 2007 and have continued to share my passion for travel with my clients.
In 2016 I was awarded the TravelManagers Best Customer Service Award. I am very proud to have received this award!
In 2017 I was awarded the TravelManagers On line Marketing award for the Tour to Malta, Sardinia and Sicily.
How lucky am I!! I have been privileged to accompany my groups to such exotic destinations as South America – I will never forget rounding the corner as we entered the site of Machu Picchu to see the amazing view below of a civilization that seems to have just vanished.
Iguassu Falls is a must do from both Argentina and Brazil. I can’t speak highly enough of South America as an exciting destination.
I have been to Mexico and Cuba.……….get there quickly before it changes. Cuba is so poor but the people are so happy and music fills every street!
Other destinations I have experienced:
Vietnam and Cambodia
China
Spain
Portugal – don’t underestimate this destination. Scenically beautiful, not to mention its history food and wine!
Russia

I specialise in organising small group tours. I have personally escorted tours to South America, China Vietnam, Cambodia, Alaska, Sicily, Japan, Mexico, Cuba, South Africa Egypt , Jordan and East Africa. The new destination for 2017 was Myanmar and the Kimberley in Australia.
I was excited to take two groups in 2018 to the country of my parents, Malta and continued on to Sardinia and Corsica. All agreed it was an amazing trip. But don’t worry! I am offering another tour to Malta in 2021 followed by nearby Sicily!!
Details of most of these itineraries can be found on my website.www.smallgrouptravel.com.au . I am also happy to develop personalise itineraries for you either as an individual or a group.
Groups
I organise true small group tours and I guarantee that no group will be larger than 16. Each itinerary is carefully researched to suit the needs and interests of the group travelling. With every tour, fellow travellers meet each other before the tour so that you are travelling with people with whom you are already familiar.
Individual itineraries
I plan detailed itineraries for a trip of a life time. I use reputable operators to provide a well-planned itinerary suited to your needs.
Small Ship Cruising
In line with my philosophy of sharing travel with small groups of people, I am keen to introduce my clients to small ship cruising. I have experienced an expedition cruise in Alaska shared amazing experiences of kayaking with whales and watching Glaciers carve! There are so many opportunities to experience small ship cruising from the expedition cruises to luxury small ships.
I have also experienced a small ship cruise on the Galapagos. I will never forget snorkelling with the sea lions!
Last year I cruised on a SilverSea Expedition cruise from Greenock, Scotland and up the coast of Norway to Tromso. What an amazing experience.
I now have a link to SmallShip Cruising on my website
