“We had the fortunate experience of being recommended to Rachael by friends of ours. This recommendation proved to be one of the best travel decisions we have made. Rachael is delightful full of help and sound advice. We could not have asked for more - During the planning of our trip we talked often and met for coffee and it was just as though she was an old friend. Following a number of months of planning and discussion, we set off on a six week trip to Europe last Christmas with the view in mind of catching up with relatives and friends and exploring other cities and towns we had not visited before. Everything was perfect – All organised by Rachael. We flew to Hong Kong business class and then onto Helsinki with Finnair one of the world’s best airlines in our opinion and a One world partner affiliated with Qantas – Finnair is outstanding – brand new spotlessly clean aircraft, fantastic seat position and a delightful warm and welcoming crew who could not do enough for us. Exploring Helsinki was fascinating with Christmas markets and the harbour together with the normal market plus many other attractions and of course all that Finnish glassware. The shops are excellent as are the museums. We flew to London (organised by Rachael) and then took the train to Cambridge for Christmas. After that it was off to France. Rachael had organised for us to take the Eurostar to Arras in France where we stayed with friends in their delightful B& B – La Corne d'or -which has been placed in the top 1% in France. 10 days later back on the Eurostar to Paris and from there Rachael had booked us to fly to New York. After overnighting at the Westin in New York we took the Acela train from Penn Station to Wilmington in Delaware to spend 4 days with relatives. We explored a lot of Delaware and enjoyed the huge fall of snow that blanketed the countryside. Back on the Acela to Newark Airport where Rachael had made a reservation at the Marriott hotel which was excellent and very spacious. From there we flew to Calgary and then took the coach to Banff with reservations made at the Fairmont in Banff on the Gold Class floor all organised by Rachael. Just fantastic! After Banff we headed again by coach to Lake Louise the highlight of our trip – Rachael had organised a superb room overlooking the frozen lake and it was perfect – We spent a few days there exploring and walking through the snow in minus 27 degrees with bright blue skies and dazzling sunshine. Lake Louise and its breathtaking beauty was the highlight of our trip and came highly recommended by Rachael. For the last leg of our journey Rachael had booked us to coach back to Calgary and from there fly to Vancouver and onto Honolulu where we spent a week in warm and welcoming sunshine before returning to Melbourne on Qantas. With all our flights, train travel and coach trips nothing was too much trouble for Rachael – she rang us constantly keeping us up to date with all the arrangements as they progressed – we could not have been happier with the service she provided and we would highly recommend her to all our friends. “Once again I ask Rachael to look after my trip. Being an ex agent myself it would be very easy for me to book it myself however for 3 years now I've asked Rachael and she always amazes me, every time. Nothing is ever easy with my bookings, you may call it Murphy's law. The airlines always seem to remove the fare but Rachael always fights to get it back, for me this means sitting at the pointy end with cash left in my pocket. I do my research and normally know what I want, then after giving Rachel the hotel details she ALWAYS comes up with the goods. This time round a hotel I'd seen for $700 for 3 nights no breakfast, she gets for $500 including breakfasts. The next hotel I'd seen for $695 for a beachfront room, it was out of our price range, Rachael got it for $480, we are now staying in a beachfront room. Once again Rachael, you are amazing at what you do. Thank you for putting together what is going to be a wonderful trip.”

Always available (do wonder if she sleeps) . With our recent travels was always available advising options and when the airlines started cancelling flights out of South Africa Rachael organised tickets for us promptly and we were seated on a plane with 5 hours heading back to Melbourne. Could I do these bookings myself? Of course. However Rachael gets better prices then I find, has knowledge of and contacts in many destinations and alleviates the stress I would put myself through. “I just took 6mths long service leave throughout South America and Europe. Trip of a life time. Loved every second of it. And I only had a few months to plan it all before I left. A friend recommend Rachael to me after I was getting frustrated looking at flight options, so I called her and after our first conversation I had the confidence to hand all the planning and logistics over. 18 flights, 2 remote bus transfers, 4 epic hikes, a bunch of tours and a few nights accommodation later, it was all sorted. The hotel Templation was exquisite. Staff were gorgeous. Tours were sensational and Siem Reap was the most glorious Asian city I've ever had the pleasure of visiting.
