Crystal is becoming an industry leader in culinary excellence, with big plans for 2025 and beyond. Here’s a snapshot of the dining experiences you can expect with restaurants like Nobu’s UMI UMA (the only outpost at sea), Giraudi’s swish restaurant Beefbar, and fine-dining Osteria d’Ovidio — which is soon-to-be curated by triple Michelin-star Chef Massimiliano.
The famous Nobu chain created by Master Chef Nobu Matsuhisa has made its mark as the only of its kind on the high seas. Restaurant UMI UMA is an upscale Japanese dining experience with a focus on sushi, sashimi, and kappo-style fair with a Peruvian twist.
Sit up at the Sushi Bar as you watch the expert chefs masterfully prepare sashimi, and order a sake or cocktail. Then devour signature plates like the Miso-Marinated Black Cod, Grilled Chilean Sea Bass and Wagyu Beef Filet Steak surrounded by artwork and ceramics, which reflect traditional Japanese craftmanship.
Joining Crystal in 2025 is the up-and-coming sensation Beefbar — brainchild of visionary master chef Riccardo Giraudi. Beefbar has become well-known in the culinary world, having received numerous awards since its first inception in Monaco in 2005.
The sleek restaurant, also known for its stylish interiors, is celebrated for its elevation of the global street-food scene, with an emphasis on premium cuts of beef sourced from around the world. But it’s not just for beef lovers. Guests can savour the flavours of citrus cerviche and tiraditos, and indulge in plant-based food like the organic cauliflower steak with green tahini and pomegranate.
Fine Italian dining takes centre stage at Osteria d’Ovidio and Crystal has just announced a collaboration with triple Michelin-star chef Massimiliano Alajmo and his brother Raffaele, who’ll bring their unmatched expertise to the menu.
With eight additional restaurants, a gelato bar, poolside grill and 24-hour in-suite dining, this cruise line is a foodie’s dream.
